Learning jiu-jitsu in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is an own-channel city: no roll prints academy addresses, so this guide is built from what the academies publish on their own sites, and three registers sit side by side. Hong Kong Fight Club in Wan Chai prints a weekly timetable, «Drop-In $200 per class», «Monthly Unlimited 1400» and «Book a Free Trial»; Espada Studio in Sheung Wan prints a full gi and no-gi grid, a free session for anyone who has never trained, and «two Trial Classes for only $400»; D'Jago BJJ in Central prints «DROP IN $320» and «$1920 /month» beside a free trial; Unlimited BJJ prints the most complete price sheet in the city, «Class Drop in --- HKD 300» included. Kowloon Jiu Jitsu Mong Kok and Athletes Fitness Yuen Long print theirs in Chinese: «歡迎walk in試堂» and a «試堂費只需$99» paid trial. Most other doors keep their timetables inside booking widgets, and eight academy domains no longer resolve, so those rows are recorded from directories. For someone starting out, the real question is not «which gym is the best» but «which one fits me»; this guide exists to answer that.
