This guide covers the 35 rooms of the Jacarepaguá belt, and its honest story is this: not one publishes a price, and many addresses exist only on network rosters. So the guide shows exactly what each academy publishes itself — and what it doesn't — with network-listed addresses labelled as such. For someone just starting, the real question is not "which academy is best" but "which one fits me."

Academia Vittoria — Unidade Araguaia (Freguesia, Jacarepaguá). An independent, multi-discipline gym (CrossFit, Muay Thai, Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, sports physiotherapy, sports nutrition per its own site), unaffiliated with any of the four networks that otherwise dominate this belt. A second unit, 'Rio 2 (Barra da Tijuca),' is published on the same site but belongs to a different Rio area and is out of scope here

Who this academy suits

For a beginner who wants the belt's only genuinely own-site room, a real multi-discipline gym with a published mat size (200 m², a rarity here) and a Jiu-Jitsu grid naming its gi/no-gi split. The freshness picture splits cleanly: the account is confirmed active (Instagram published 3 times in 4 days), but the schedule page itself is stamped 2019 and its currency is an open question — do not assume the decoded times still hold. No trial or price is published, and 'diária' on the site is a false friend meaning 'daily classes,' not a day-pass
