Learning jiu-jitsu in Tashkent
Tashkent is this guide's first city in Uzbekistan and the second of its Central Asian arc after Almaty. It ships in the smallest honest shape the guide has: one door prints everything a visitor needs, and the rest of the city is recorded from directories. Uzbekistan Top Team in Yunusabad prints its address on Sharaf Rashidov with a landmark, a weekly grid with adult BJJ at 19:30 six evenings a week and an 8 AM class three mornings, the free first class in its own words, «Первая тренировка бесплатно», with the conditions printed beside it, and a three-line sheet in sum, «700 000 сум / месяц» for twelve evening sessions, no joining fee. Behind it, UFC GYM Uzbekistan prints a club-wide free trial and a BJJ coach roster but no street address in text; BUKA GYM prints an address and a trial button over an image schedule; Ruslan Yakubov's Chilanzar room prints a text grid and no first-visit line; Fighter Factory closes its site to every crawler. No door in the city prints a drop-in price. For someone starting out, the real question is not «which gym is the best» but «which one fits me»; this guide exists to answer that.

Who this academy suits
The Russian-reading beginner in Tashkent: the one door in the city that prints everything you need before you go — its address on Sharaf Rashidov in Yunusabad with a landmark, a weekly grid with adult BJJ at 19:30 six evenings a week and an 8 AM class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the free first class in its own words («Первая тренировка бесплатно», «Предварительная запись обязательна», in the beginners' group, T-shirt and shorts, a gi from the second class), a three-line sum sheet with no joining fee, and a coach page led by «Основатель академии UTT · Чёрный пояс · МСМК» with six carded coaches behind him
Why we say it: topteam.uz rendered in a browser 2026-09-03 (the React bundle the server sends carries the same bytes): the contact block, the weekly grid, the first-visit block with its conditions, the price sheet and the coach cards quoted verbatim
The visitor passing through for a week: there is no drop-in or day-pass price on this site or on any other Tashkent door this guide could read — the printed register is the free first class, booked in advance, and after that a monthly pass («700 000 сум / месяц» for twelve evening sessions). Book the free class through the form, say you are visiting, and ask the manager what a short stay costs; the site prints no answer to that question
Why we say it: topteam.uz price sheet and first-visit block (rendered 2026-09-03), and the gate-check census of every Tashkent door read this pass (none prints a «разовое посещение» byte)

Uzbekistan Top Team (UTT): FREE: «Первая тренировка бесплатно.» — a free trial for new visitors, adults and kids, «Предварительная запись обязательна» (booking required); 60–90 minutes in the beginners' group, T-shirt and shorts, a gi recommended from the second class, personal sessions excluded; Uzbek «Birinchi mashg'ulot — bepul.»; no drop-in price printed
How do I book a trial class?
It differs by academy. Where we could verify the booking method, it is listed under "Your first visit" in that academy's entry; otherwise, asking through the academy's official channel is the most reliable route.
I'm a complete beginner. Can I just show up?
It differs by academy. Entries show where a fundamentals program and first-visit process are verified. For the rest, check with the academy before visiting. For what a first class actually feels like, see the beginner posts on our blog.
