Learning jiu-jitsu in Sydney

Sydney is the guide's first Australian metro, and it is an own-channel city: no federation publishes a public registry here (the national body's roll lives inside a login-walled platform), so every room in this guide was found and verified through the operators' own websites. What those sites agree on is striking — Sydney starts free. Five of the six full entries print a free first visit, from Gracie Barra's Oceania headquarters («Book Your Free Class») to Botany's four-person introductory class with a loaner uniform; the sixth, Higher Jiu Jitsu, prints a choice — a $35 intro session or a free private lesson. What almost nobody prints is a price: memberships live in the booking conversation. We cover the metro in three areas: the city & inner east, the north, and the west. Each gets the same treatment: verified facts per academy, no rankings, and the evidence behind every claim.
