Learning jiu-jitsu in the Cuautitlán belt

These rooms are in the Estado de México, not in Mexico City, and this belt is the furthest out: Cuautitlán Izcalli, Cuautitlán and Coacalco de Berriozábal, with Villa del Carbón as its outer edge some 60 km from the Zócalo. 3 rooms are recorded and none yet carries a full entry — this is the thinnest page in the city, and it is worth saying exactly why. One room runs a live one-page site that publishes a full weekly jiu-jitsu timetable and gives no street, no telephone and no email on it. One is a corner in Cuautitlán Izcalli's centro, held under two registrations by the same person ninety metres apart, with the brand name on only one of them. One is a Villa del Carbón municipality string and a postal code, and it carries the only operator-written English self-description in this entire corpus. None of that is a statement about Cuautitlán. It is a statement about what this research can currently read: the belt returns nothing on the channels we use, and these rooms are on channels we decline to read or have not found. The correction to that framing has already been demonstrated once inside this same ring — Ecatepec was recorded at zero rostered rooms, the instrument improved, and rooms appeared. If you train in this belt, the honest advice is to go to the room's own social channel and ask; the two nearest published doors are the Interlomas–Satélite belt to the south and the Neza belt to the east. And one thing to know before you ask: the paid casual visit Mexico City proper sells — 'clase de visita' — does not exist anywhere in this ring. Out here the way in is free, or it is a month. For someone just starting, the real question is not "which academy is best" but "which one fits me."
