Johannesburg is the guide's first African metro, and it is a registry city in an English-speaking country — a surprise. The working instrument is the AJP accreditation roll: of fifteen rooms it seats across the metro, exactly one publishes a current open channel. That one is on the East Rand — Ability Academy in Heidelberg, with its week printed as text (kids and senior BJJ beside boxing and kickboxing) and «Start Free Trial» on its own front page. The northern suburbs hold the metro's Gracie Barra cluster — Melrose (the biggest room on the roll), Sandton Central, Sunninghill, Kyalami — but both printed GB domains are dead and the rest of the channels are walled social profiles, so for fourteen of fifteen rooms the printed phone is the door, and this page says so plainly.
