The decision, in short
If you may join: write an e-mail first; the club says so plainly, and prints neither a price nor a free claim for the trial, so ask in the same message. From the club's fee ordinance dated 1 January 2026: €80 a quarter or €30 a month, payable on joining, with notice running to the end of a half-year rather than a month, and late payment published as grounds for immediate exclusion with a flat €10 charge. The children's class from age six is published as free.
If you are visiting: no drop-in or day price was found in the sources checked; ask. Classes with their venue on each slot: Tuesday and Thursday 07:30 to 08:30 and Wednesday 20:30 to 22:00 at the Boxfabrik, Friday 18:30 to 20:00 at the Wrangelstrasse hall, Saturday 11:30 to 13:00 and Sunday 16:30 to 18:30 at the Boxfabrik; ages 16 and up.

Who this academy suits
The room for people whose evenings are not their own. Sport-Club LURICH 02 runs Brazilian jiu-jitsu at 07:30 on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and again Wednesday night, Friday evening, Saturday lunchtime and Sunday afternoon — five slots a week across two Kreuzberg halls, with the venue printed next to every one. It is a fourteen-sport association whose footer reveals what the jiu-jitsu section actually is: 'GFTeam Kreuzberg 36 BJJ'. Gi and no-gi are taught in the same session rather than split, which suits a beginner who does not yet know which they prefer; adult classes are 16 and over, with a free children's class from six. The price is association-level — 30 € a month or 80 € a quarter under a fee ordinance dated January 2026 — and two clauses in it are worth reading first: notice runs to the end of a half-year, not a month, and late payment is published as grounds for immediate exclusion from training. There is no walk-in: e-mail bjj@lurich.de first, and since the club does not say whether the trial is free, ask that in the same message
Why we say it: All bytes from the club's own channel, lurich.de, four pages read 2026-08-17; its robots.txt carries nineteen path-specific Disallows under /calendar/ and /kalender/ only, with no blanket ban and no delay, and every page read sits outside them. The BJJ course sentence, the GFTeam footer badge, both venue strings, the five-slot timetable, the fee ordinance with its notice and late-payment clauses, the e-mail-first trial instruction and the free children's class are the club's own. The belt is published collectively and no grantor appears, so no lineage ships. Capacity terms returned zero bytes, recorded as our result and not as a statement about the room
Your first visit
- Free trial
- By e-mail first, and the club says so plainly: 'Probetraining: Bitte vorher eine E-Mail schreiben.' to bjj@lurich.de. No price and no free claim is attached, and a Berlin Probetraining is not reliably free — ask in the same message. The children's class from age 6 is published as free source · 2026-08-17
- Class schedule
- Published in full with the venue on each slot: Tuesday and Thursday 07:30–08:30 at the Boxfabrik, Wednesday 20:30–22:00 at the Boxfabrik, Friday 18:30–20:00 at the Wrangelstrasse hall, Saturday 11:30–13:00 and Sunday 16:30–18:30 at the Boxfabrik. Ages 16 and up. A 07:30 weekday class twice a week is unusual in this city source · 2026-08-17
Classes and cost
- Membership
- From the club's own fee ordinance dated 01.01.2026: 80 € a quarter or 30 € a month, payable on joining. Two things to weigh before signing: notice runs to the end of a half-year rather than a month, and late payment is published as grounds for immediate exclusion from training, with a flat 10 € charge. The ordinance's own joining-fee word is 'Aufnahmebeiträge' source · 2026-08-17
Location, instructors, contact
- Address
- Two BJJ venues, each its own pin: the Boxfabrik at Köpenicker Straße 154, 10997 Berlin-Kreuzberg (GSG-Hof F), and the Sporthallen Mariannenplatz at Wrangelstrasse 136, 10997 Berlin-Kreuzberg (Halle 4). The club runs two further halls that carry no BJJ. Its two lists disagree on which hall at Mariannenplatz — 'Halle 4' on the BJJ page, 'Alte Halle, Halle 1 - 5' on the venues list — and both are carried source · 2026-08-17
- Instructors
- The belt claim is collective and only collective, in the club's own sentence and its own typo: its coaches 'tragen alle den Schwarzgut' — all wear the black belt — 'und bringen gemeinsam über 50 Jahre BJJ-Erfahrung mit'. The coaches are named without grades: Fränzi, Florian, Nadiem and Stefan. No belt is attached to a named person and no grantor is published source · 2026-08-17
