Learning jiu-jitsu in Treptow-Köpenick
This is Berlin's largest Bezirk by area, out along the Spree and the Müggelsee — 4 rooms recorded, 1 with a full entry. That one, Kampfsportschule Köpenick, is the clearest place in this city to see what the German word jiu-jitsu is doing. On one timetable it runs `Brazilian Jiu Jitsu` — beginners Wednesday 18:30, advanced Tuesday and Thursday 17:30 — and, under its own separate heading, a Japanese `Jiu Jitsu - Selbstverteidigung`, a self-defence course, on Wednesday and Friday. The house draws the distinction itself. Grappling runs Tuesday at 19:00, and the Saturday 10:00 grappling session is published as open to all. No price appears anywhere on its channel and the office is staffed on weekday afternoons, so asking is the route to that answer. One thing worth stating honestly: this district sat blank in earlier stages of this research, and the blank was a state of our reading rather than a property of Treptow-Köpenick — it ended when a room's own timetable was read properly. The other three records here are competition-platform registrations and walls this research honours: one domain that spells a local brand turned out to belong to somebody else entirely, and one federation listing gives a name with everything behind it on a path its own robots file closes to us. Kampfsportschule Köpenick, a registered club on Hirtestraße in Köpenick that calls itself a KietzKlub, publishes two jiu-jitsu programmes on one timetable and names them apart. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu runs three times a week — beginners Wednesday 18:30, advanced Tuesday and Thursday 17:30 — with Grappling on Tuesday at 19:00 and an open Saturday morning session at 10:00. Then, under a heading of its own, the house runs a separate 'Jiu Jitsu - Selbstverteidigung' course on Wednesdays and Fridays: Japanese jiu-jitsu as self-defence, listed beside Kobudo, which the club dates to old Japan. Two arts, one week, one operator — and the operator wrote both. If you want the Brazilian art, the Wednesday 18:30 beginners class is your door, and it is not the Wednesday 18:30 self-defence class. The mat is one venue in three specialised rooms with a weights room, a small cardio area, a cage wall and a boxing ring; boxing, kickboxing and MMA fill the rest of the week. Why we say it: Every fact above is the club's own channel, trigoon.de, read 2026-08-17 across five pages at the published Crawl-delay: 10, honoured from the first request.
