Fightzone Berlin

The most completely published room in east Berlin, and the one that answers a beginner's questions before they are asked. Fightzone sits in the Victoria-Center directly at Ostkreuz — the room describes its own address as 'Berlin Friedrichshain / Lichtenberg', which is honest, since it is on the boundary — and it puts roughly fifty classes a week in plain HTML with the level and the Gi or No-Gi tag on every one, from a 07:00 gi class before work to Saturday afternoon advanced sparring. It also publishes what each level means, so you can place yourself before you arrive: Intermediate is twelve months of BJJ or a comparable grappling art, or two stripes on a white belt. The trial is free and arranged in advance. The money is fully on the table, which is unusual here: 99 €/month on a twelve-month term, 119 € month-to-month, a 40 € joining fee, a ten-class card at 150 € with no expiry and no joining fee, and — the useful one if you are passing through — one week unlimited for 50 €. Concessions run to 26 for pupils, apprentices and full-time students. Classes are taught in English and German, in the room's own words. It trains as part of the Checkmat team and names its visiting instructors; the head coach's black belt is published as being under Ricardo Vieira, which is the room's own statement and is worth reading as that

Why we say it: Everything above is the room's own single-page channel, fightzone-berlin.de, read 2026-08-17: the Impressum address and phone, the Checkmat paragraph, the weekly grid with its level definitions, the free trial line, the full price matrix with its three footnotes, and the bilingual teaching line. The 240-member figure and the Checkmat affiliation record are the competition platform's, from D1, and are scale evidence only. The head coach's belt is published with a named grantor, but Checkmat's own registry is closed to this research, so it is reported as the room's claim and no lineage is asserted. The second coach's rank contradicts itself on the room's own page and is therefore not published. The platform's Coppistraße address is not pinned — it belongs to another operation.
