Learning jiu-jitsu in the Lazio belt
This guide covers the ring towns around Rome — Monterotondo, Fonte Nuova, Fiumicino, Grottaferrata, San Cesareo and Ladispoli. One honest record up front: all six rooms here are real, federation-seated doors in the FIJLKAM Lazio roll, address and all — but none yet prints a channel of its own that this research can read. So this page writes only what the roll says: a name and a street address. Times, prices and trials are questions for each door itself. If you live in the ring — or the ride into Rome proper is the obstacle — start with the address nearest you. For someone just starting, the real question is not "which academy is best" but "which one fits me."
Academies being verified
We are re-confirming the essentials: class schedules and trial mechanics. Each academy joins the full guide once its facts meet the bar.

I'm a complete beginner. Can I just show up?
It differs by academy. Entries show where a fundamentals program and first-visit process are verified. For the rest, check with the academy before visiting. For what a first class actually feels like, see the beginner posts on our blog.
